Hey, there! I hope you all are staying safe during these crazy times! Here is my first style look post-baby! The last time I posted here on the blog, we had just really gotten in the thick of things dealing with COVID-19 and beginning to shelter in place. Also, I finally got to share photos of the baby nursery. Fun fact: I literally edited and published that whole post while in the hospital, the night before giving birth to Axel! Needless to say, the nursery turned out great and we brought home a beautiful, healthy baby boy. So, I’m sure you guys are probably thinking how do I even have time to post right now? Truthfully, (as I hold Axel, struggling to type with one hand) I don’t and probably won’t have much time until he’s about 3 or 4 months. However, blogging and creating content has been my therapy for feeling like myself again and not just a milk machine and human bassinet. So for that, you will see me here and there, when time allows. I hope you all bare with me as I try to figure out a good parent and work balance that fits our needs.
But I think overall, Nate and I are starting to get a handle on parenthood the best way we can! If you’ve been keeping up with me on Instagram, you’ve got the chance to see our hangry baby, Axel, and how cute he is. He has definitely been a handful and keeps us on our toes (literally), but we are beyond happy to have him home and love him so much!
