#FashionFriday // Style Within the Home and Myself

It is hard to believe that we have been living in our new home now for 3 weeks! But of course we’re still not fully unpacked and settled. A few minor things here and there, but we definitely got a head start on the decorating process, and a few new pieces for myself from Tobi.

I have really been enjoying the outdoor space and views we have. It just doesn’t get any better with these mountain views. People have asked, “You’re a city girl, you don’t miss the city?” Nope! I work in the city, it’s not going anywhere, I can drive down if needed. But it’s nice to come home to peace and quiet for once. Moving on to minimal lifestyle like this minimal cold shoulder dress I’m wearing from Tobi.

We went to Woodstock Furniture Outlet and put together our living room. I let Nate talk me into getting a cowhide rug. It actually turned out great. I love that it really fit into the rustic chic look I was going for. The coffee table was actually a quick DIY project. I found a Jack Daniels Half Barrel Planter at Home Depot and added the glass top from our old table. Turned out really cute! And is this simple but chic wrap dress that I have on here.

My absolute favorite part of the house is our breakfast area. It has so much character, Nate used reclaimed wood from an old house built in the 1800s to do the wall, bench, and table. It turned out  so beautiful, and a perfect backdrop for photo ops now! lol Click here for this minimalist jumpsuit I’m wearing.

Seriously girl, your style is so classy and classic, all three dresses would be something I would wear without blink of an eye. I love the peace and quiet the country side offers, not to mention the lush scenery. Your coffee table and rug is TDF and I absolutely love the wood dining area, it is the perfect nook for a great brunch spread.

I love how your home is bits and pieces of your man and yourself. It’s so nice when a couple can fully get along with home decor as it’s so rare these days, haha. Tobi always has the best selections in trendy, chic clothes! That cold shoulder dress is the best. I would love to see more home related posts from you too as I need to step my game up in that area 😉

First of all congrats on your new home – from what I see it’s gorgeous!!! And don’t worry – it takes a while to settle in and make it yours. Plus it’s a fun project. BTW – love these looks on you! I’m a City girl so I’d have a hard time leaving but I totally understand wanting a little peace and quiet…and space!

Wow, the house looks amazing! I mean, with that kind of view, why would anyone miss the city? The mountain range is absolutely stunning. Also, loving the breakfast area as well! I’ve been thinking about getting a wooden table, but they’re always so expensive. The one you have is so great especially with so much history too!

Your new place looks absolutely fantastic – so much air and space. Love it so much. I prefer staying away from the city and live in suburbs as well, I love the calm and peacefulness, that city simply cannot provide. So I understand you so well.
All this minimalism in the interior design and in fashion is something that always gets me. Your faded peach dress is so beautiful and suits you so well.

Okay girl! I am loving the house! It’s beautiful! I’m right there with you on loving the country and the quiet that comes along with it! I grew up in the city but now live in a seemly country area that is so peaceful and I adore it! The cowhide rug looks great and is the perfect detail! Also, how awesome is your coffee table! so cool you made it! I get why that’s your favorite space! I’d never want to leave it! So cozy! Your Tobi dress is so pretty!
