And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. -Colossians 3:14

Finally, the day has come to share my wedding photos with you all! It was the perfect autumn evening for a Rustic Art Deco wedding. It was held at our neighbors house in the North Georgia mountains, who built a beautiful pavilion for their daughter’s wedding prior to ours. They are in the process of turning it into a venue called The Hilltop at Riddle Mill. Swanky Rose Events, of course my go to for all fabulous events, planned the perfect vintage and countryside chic wedding.

I chose a Rustic Art Deco theme because I have a mild obsession with the 1920s and jazz era. From the music to the glamorous styles, it speaks to me on a whole different level. You can check out more of my wedding inspiration here. We used a bold and beautiful, jewel toned palette: emerald, deep burgundy, mustard yellow, and copper as my metal. For flowers I wanted to keep it simple but elegant, so we went with Magnolias. The bridal party wardrobe was regal and retro. We had beautiful burgundy velvet dresses made for the girls, while the guys looked dapper in their tweed sports coats and waistcoats.

Sweet sounds of Ella Fitzgerald walked me down the aisle, later we partied to upbeat tunes from MJ to some Afrobeats. For dinner we completely mixed it up and served breakfast! The menu included pancakes, bacon, country potatoes, chicken tenders, and eggs. Also, Krispy Kreme donuts, but those didn’t last quite long. Lol For the cake we took the naked route, with copper dripping down the sides. Scroll to the end for more wedding details and links to our vendors. Without further due, I hope you enjoy our wedding photos, which were beautifully captured by Dogwood and Undertree.

I would like to thank everyone who came out to spend such a special day with us. I want to especially thank my beautiful bridesmaids, awesome groomsmen, and parents for helping us along the way and the big day. We couldn’t have pulled it off without you! Thank you to my London fam for traveling all the way to the US just to share the day with us. Thankful for our kind neighbors for letting us hold the wedding at their place and helping coordinate the day. We are truly blessed to be surrounded by great family and friends, and couldn’t ask for more! Out of all the crazy things that happened that day: forgetting bouquets and fruit for sangria, train of my dress started unsnapping, sewing machine didn’t work to make ties, etc. lol The day was still perfect and memorable, and one that we will never forget.
