Well, Happy New Year! I was not expecting for my first post of 2021 to be almost 3 months in but here we are. The ongoing theme of motherhood is to expect the unexpected. In other words, don’t expect to get much of what you want to get done, done. Being a mom is definitely a priority for me but I am happy to get back to blogging. Hopefully, Axel will allow me a little more time once we hit his first birthday.
For my first post of the year, I wanted to dive right into some spring fashion. This isn’t exactly a new trend but rather one that has been getting carried over and not seeing an end for it quite yet. Puff sleeves are everywhere these days! Personally, I absolutely love them and you’ve seen me rocking them in a couple of my previous posts. I wore a gorgeous linen puff sleeve dress last spring, this really cute puff sleeve top over the summer, and a black puff sleeve dress early fall. With spring around the corner, I thought it would be great to share 3 transitional puff sleeves and boots outfits you can wear right now!
I was drawn to this puff sleeve square neck sweater and faux croc booties because they were in my favorite color, green! Both came from JustFab and apparently everyone else was obsessed with these boots because they appear to be sold out! I paired this puff sleeves and boots outfit with some frayed hem denim, gold jewels, cute hairpins, and a statement crossbody bag.
Wool Sweater + Faux Croc Boots
Floral Dress + Western Boots
Utility Jumpsuit + Combat Boots
There are so many ways you can rock puff sleeves and boots outfit! It’s such a versatile combination and easy to style. It’s definitely a look you can carry into all seasons, but if it’s too hot to rock a boot in the summer where you live, swap it out for a chic pair of sandals!
What’s your favorite way to style puff sleeves? A fan of the trend at all? Let me know what you think in the comments!
