Life lately…🏝️☀️🐶🎓⚾️🫧🥰🕊️

The past couple of months, that I have been MIA, have been a blur. They aren’t kidding when they say the month of May is just December in a bikini.😅 lol From school-themed weeks, birthdays, graduations, Mother’s Day, and more, I was beyond burned out. My whole household was. So, we took a much-needed family vacation to Cancun at the end of the month, and we had a great time! Axel met a new friend, whose name was Axel too! We had the best time hanging out with him and his parents at the beach and pool.

June was quite chaotic as well. An emotional one for sure. It has been one ever since my sister passed, to be honest. This year marked 2 years, and it still hurts the same. And it’s so hard to grieve properly when you have littles.

The state of the world right now is in shambles, and the lack of empathy and compassion amongst humanity is unnerving. I have to limit how much news I consume so I don’t slip into a depressive episode. Though I want to stay informed as much possible, I have to do what’s best for me so I can show up for my family the best way I can.

And then there’s work and summer break.🫠 Working from home in a neurospicy household is an Olympic sport.😂 Axel is sensory-seeking all day, no matter how many activities or snacks I give him, while I’m getting overstimulated by the minute, and can’t stay focused on work to save my life! Which is the worst when you have a ton of work to do, a bunch of marketing calls to prepare for Q3, and desperately want to get back to creating content and other hobbies.

But in between the chaos, we’ve made time to sprinkle in some fun here and there. We took a great family vacay, went to a couple of Braves games, had a cute dinner date with my girls, and a fun night out on the town with some friends. So, while I’m still stressed to the max, my heart is full and content. Plus, I have lots of fun things to look forward to this month, and then getting Axel ready for kindergarten!🥹

I’m not going to make any promises, but hopefully you’ll see more of me on your feed this month and in the future.❤️

I’m in my office and hear a bunch of noise so I peeked around the corner to find Axel doing his stuntman activities per usual. If you know Axel personally, you know this is my wild child in a nutshell, from sun up to sun down!

The original footage is in my stories. I was about to fuss at him for being on the dog bed in his nice PJs but he had me cackling in the corner! I was trying so hard not to laugh! He cracks me up with his silly little self! 😅😂🤣
