There are a ton of subscription boxes out on the market now! I finally got my hands on the new SEPHORA Play! Subscription box and excited to share what I got in my first box! Check out my video on me unboxing it and below are my review on each product. Enjoy!

1. Beauty Blender Blotterazzi

Like I said in the unboxing video, I am very familiar with this product and a fan of Beauty Blender! They just have a great line up of products, especially the Blotterazzi. I love using this over the paper blotters, they’re reusable and it comes with 2, along with a compact case.
2. Nest Fragrance in Citrine

This was my first time smelling one their fragrances. I normally see it in Sephora, but am very attached to the fragrance I already use so I just never bother to check it out. So this was a pleasant surprise that it actually smells great and would definitely add to my collection.
3. Too Faced Chocolate Soliel Matte Bronzer

I’m not a huge fan of Too Faced, and it’s not that I don’t like their products, but that they don’t really carry a lot for WOC. They stop around the medium range, so I can’t really get the full effect of their products. However, I do like their eye primer and lip colors! This bronzer will unfortunately not be much of use for me.
4. First Aid Beauty Deep Skin Cleanser with Red Clay

I have used and am a fan of First Aid Beauty products! They have great face cleansers and other skincare products. So I enjoyed testing this product out, I definitely saw that my skin was instantly brighter and smoother looking after use!
5. Smashbox Photo Finish Pore Minimizing Primer

I liked this primer but it has a couple of cons. One, it doesn’t really go on as smooth as I would like. It kind of peels off if you have other products (ie. certain moisturizers) layered underneath it. You really have to work this into your skin properly before applying makeup. But other than that, my pores did appear less visible!
6. Ouai Haircare Wave Spray

I could rave about Ouai Haircare products all day! It definitely is my latest obsession within hair products. I have not tested this out yet because I was testing the length my hair could stay straight in this humid ATL weather. But will use soon and update you on how I liked it. 🙂

I really liked all the products they sent me. Like Ipsy, they charge $10/ month and am assuming they’ll be sending around 6 premium size samples each time. I’m definitely excited to see what I get in my August box! Have you tried the new SEPHORA Play! Subscription Box yet? Love it or hate it? Let me know in the comments below!
