Saltimbocca with Lemon White Wine Sauce Recipe

February 14, 2017 5:41 pm

Nate and I normally don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day like that. One, Nate nor I are really the uber romantic type, and two, I honestly think you should show these nice gestures other days as well. You can’t limit showing your love to one day! lol Any who, Sunday I decided to make us a delicious dinner. I started back serving again on weekends (as if I have any extra time lol), and asked the chef for a really good chicken recipe. I wanted to try something new instead of cooking our usual favorite, Chicken Marsala. So, he told me to try a Saltimbocca. Continue to read to find out how I created this dish and how it turned out!

December 29, 2016 11:30 pm

I literally can’t believe this year is over. It was just the beginning of the year, then I blinked. lol So much happened in what seems to be such a short time, like getting engaged, starting a new job, and moving to a new home. So, I wanted to take this time to reflect on what they were and how to move forward into 2017. Feel free to follow along and give yourself a review to prep for the new year as well!

So long suburbia! Hello countryside!

August 31, 2016 4:54 pm

After days of craving a lobster roll, I decided I was going to have one this past Monday night since Nate going to CHOPS with his boss. I started searching for restaurants that I could order for pick-up on my ride home. I couldn’t find too many places that made them in the North Atlanta area, and the one that I did, was $18! It just wasn’t that serious for me to spend almost 20 bucks on a sandwich just for myself! So, I figured maybe I could just make one, it would probably be much cheaper (I’m on a strict budget over the next few months, I’ll fill you in on why later). I googled lobster roll recipes and it was so easy! How have I never thought to try this before?! I had a good bit of stuff already at home, but here’s how to make your own.
